Hector Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Moisés Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Valery kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moisés Bueno. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Emiliano Sanders hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Doriva Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Jordy. Kalessin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Kalessin booed when Calopsita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Bueno having to interfere. When Kalessin's Genaro Valery in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Hector Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Kalessin got a freekick which was hit by Hector Cordeiro. Samuel Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Calopsita EC booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Calopsita EC's Moisés Bueno got control of the ball when Genaro Valery tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Doriva Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rony Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Hector Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Genaro Valery came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kalessin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Valery couldn't finish the play. Moisés Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Valery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Hector Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dráuzio Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Calopsita EC's Moisés Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Valery in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Calopsita EC booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Hector Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalessin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dráuzio Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nuno Carioca hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Kalessin were the better team. Kalessin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
