Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. SC Freiburg 09's Óscar Telinhos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Velasco came free, but Óscar Telinhos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Abud in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Óscar Telinhos saved SC Freiburg 09 from getting behind. Rodrigo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Óscar Telinhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Freitas. 28 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Velasco notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of SC Freiburg 09's Óscar Telinhos. Óscar Telinhos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guilherme Abud might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Óscar Telinhos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilherme Abud ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guilherme Abud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Telinhos having to interfere. Éder Conde hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, SC Freiburg 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veríssimo Horta to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Veríssimo Horta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Óscar Telinhos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half DENVER™ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Óscar Telinhos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Velasco's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Óscar Telinhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Guedes replaced Rodrigo Velasco. Óscar Telinhos made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Guilherme Abud sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes, Guilherme Abud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DENVER™ and the SC Freiburg 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Abud to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match, Márcio Guedes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Óscar Telinhos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
