The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dacio Noya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino de Brito went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dacio Noya came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Zézinho Silva. But to his dismay, Zézinho Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dacio Noya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Siqueira went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. amando iglesias's Dacio Noya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Silva in the 12th minute of play. Adrián Maroto struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Marcelo da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for amando iglesias. After some careless play in the amando iglesias defense, Zézinho Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacio Noya. The amando iglesias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacio Noya should have stopped the shot. Dacio Noya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles da Silva took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacio Noya. Dacio Noya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Marcelo da Costa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gervasio Barro sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Adelino de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacio Noya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Durvalino de Queiroz scored 0-7 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacio Noya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, amando iglesias's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Siqueira came free, but Dacio Noya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zézinho Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Charles da Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dacio Noya, 0-9. Dacio Noya was a little too slow when Valdemar Siqueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-10. In the 64th minute Charles da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacio Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Alvarenga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dacio Noya came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo Alvarenga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Gustavo Alvarenga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dacio Noya. The goal made the score 0-12. When Eloy Castillo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the amando iglesias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Castillo couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Gervasio Barro notched a goal, 1-12, to the right of Danone CC's Marcelo da Costa. Marcelo da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, amando iglesias's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Alvarenga came free, but Dacio Noya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Zézinho Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-13. Zézinho Silva took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacio Noya. Dacio Noya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-14. Sinforoso Reyes took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo da Costa. Marcelo da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-14. Zeca Meirelles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Silva got free with Dacio Noya in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Danone CC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Danone CC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
