Carmelo Cordara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. The referee gave JURIDIQUES F.C a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Renatinho Vale, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club de la Serpiente's Santo Cayo. 1-0. In the 25th minute Amancio Radowitzky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Cayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, JURIDIQUES F.C's Narciso Matorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santo Cayo. Santo Cayo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Radowitzky to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredinho Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Cordeal in the 55th minute of the match. Herminio Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a JURIDIQUES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club de la Serpiente's Herminio Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Freddy Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club de la Serpiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Club de la Serpiente a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafael Cordero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of JURIDIQUES F.C's Alfredinho Cordeiro. 2-1. Club de la Serpiente's Cristo Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Matorin in the 87th minute of play forced Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Santo Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club de la Serpiente's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
