A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jens Ahlroht didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Washington Trevisan went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Karl-Erik Billvall's late challenge caught a FC La Masia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Erik Billvall helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Karl-Erik Billvall got a free kick in the 16th minute. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius de Souza having to interfere. Stig-Arne Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vinícius de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Luiz Fábio Custódio sent off a good shot on target. After 33 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Pihlberg. In the 34th minute, Andreas Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wargön's zone, Inácio Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Ahlroht came out of the goal and Inácio Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luiz Paulo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dida Alves sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Ekblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Arne Ekblom to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wargön's Jens Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Custódio in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Back during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Back. 67 minutes into the game, Wictor Pihlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vinícius de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinícius de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Wallander in the 69th minute of play. Vinícius de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Pihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Bengt-Rune Törnkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Vinícius de Souza however easily saved by the left post. Vinícius de Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas Back showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. Sigvard Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vinícius de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wargön's Jens Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio de Sousa in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Wictor Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wargön had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
