When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Irakliy Khokhlov was a little too slow when Lucio Gregory got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marat Shpagin in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Lizardi saved Informaniaticos from getting behind. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Boris Markov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Днепр ФК protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Boris Markov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Irakliy Khokhlov, was totally fooled by Informaniaticos's Esteban Naldo, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marat Shpagin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Lizardi. Paulino Lizardi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Marat Shpagin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Paulino Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Днепр ФК had won after a very even match.
