Irakliy Khokhlov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Norberg in the 12th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Kleen was a little too slow when Marat Shpagin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Днепр ФК's Irakliy Khokhlov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Norberg in the 22nd minute of play. Doffes Damer's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rudolf Kotlyarevskiy 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. In the 28th minute, Dag Norberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irakliy Khokhlov was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 32 minutes into the match, Zinoviy Akopyan notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Doffes Damer's Bengt-Åke Kleen. Bengt-Åke Kleen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dag Norberg scored 4-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irakliy Khokhlov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marat Shpagin got free with Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dag Norberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Marat Shpagin made a precise shot to the right of Bengt-Åke Kleen. Doffes Damer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Tobias Mellbad charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Mellbad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tobias Mellbad hit a great ball. Bengt-Åke Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinoviy Akopyan in the 57th minute of play. Vilgot Valström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Bengt-Åke Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonid Zhdanov went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute of the match Karl-Johan Rang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Irakliy Khokhlov skillfully saved the ball. Boris Markov's late challenge caught a Doffes Damer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Benjamin Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
