Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Oto kicked off to start the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boca Juniors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tião Vasconcelos was slow to take the kick. During this time Cambridge Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cambridge Esporte Clube's corner Tião Vasconcelos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adan Grabiel quite easily take care of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Vasconcelos came free, but Adan Grabiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ignacio Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Colas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Txema. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Vasconcelos in the 21st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Adan Grabiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Grabiel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Wesley Costa sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Emilio Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cambridge Esporte Clube's Mauro Cabral quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dionisio Olivar, made in the 28th minute of the game. With his leg Adan Grabiel managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Cambridge Esporte Clube's Tião Vasconcelos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Emilio Txema fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Emilio Txema a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cambridge Esporte Clube booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tião Vasconcelos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Juninho Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Oto. In the 55th minute, Osvaldo Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Erasmo de Lima got a free kick in the 59th minute. A long shot from Dionisio Olivar in the 61st minute of play was well struck, but Juninho Urbano made a really good save at the right post. Juninho Urbano made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Manuel Colas sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Manuel Colas took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Juninho Urbano to make any attempt to save it. Osvaldo Dimas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Osvaldo Dimas got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ignacio Oto scored 0-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Oto came free, but Juninho Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Cabral's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Mauro Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Cabral hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Juninho Urbano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teodoro Lixandro. Chants of Boca Juniors echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cambridge Esporte Clube had held the ball for most of the match.
