Blas Pareja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Paulino Domenech scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bittor Marchamalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edorta Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After the first half Todos al Fondo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Domenech to make the kick off. Lalo Cifuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bittor Marchamalo having to interfere. Octavio Grau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bittor Marchamalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Cifuentes came free, but Bittor Marchamalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Galeno Arcaute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bittor Marchamalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Palet in the 74th minute of play forced Cebollas's goalkeeper Blas Pareja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Beltxe Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Todos al Fondo's Edorta Cadaval seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edorta Cadaval the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Todos al Fondo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edorta Cadaval had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Todos al Fondo! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Cebollas. Beltxe Lara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bittor Marchamalo. 3-3. After a rather tough play, Todos al Fondo's Lando Echeto got a free kick in the 81st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cebollas's Beltxe Lara tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Blas Pareja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorbea Helguera in the 84th minute of the match. Bittor Marchamalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Domenech, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute Gorbea Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Pareja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cebollas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
