If Klas Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Laucius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Lithuanian amber from getting a goal against them. Ąžuolas Laucius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Klas Malmberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. José Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 15th minute of play. Rapolas Norkūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Boys Predators's goalie prevented a goal. José Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kipras Gelžinis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Blue Boys Predators's José Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rapolas Norkūnas in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes, Harald Wallengren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue Boys Predators and the Lithuanian amber players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harald Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Klas Malmberg made a precise shot to the right of Ąžuolas Laucius. Lithuanian amber's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. José Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kipras Gelžinis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kipras Gelžinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. José Chilavert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lithuanian amber's zone, Kasper Lindell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ąžuolas Laucius came out of the goal and Kasper Lindell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kim Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ąžuolas Laucius having to interfere. José Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 42nd minute of the match. Lithuanian amber's Benas Dokšas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Lithuanian amber's Aras Nutautas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Aras Nutautas came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Chilavert could save by the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Blue Boys Predators's goalkeeper José Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aras Nutautas. After some careless play in the Blue Boys Predators defense, Aras Nutautas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Chilavert. The Blue Boys Predators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Chilavert should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Blue Boys Predators booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigijus Damijonas didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Chilavert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aras Nutautas in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Blue Boys Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Ąžuolas Dališanskis came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rapolas Norkūnas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Lithuanian amber's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kasper Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ąžuolas Laucius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kipras Gelžinis in the 75th minute of play forced Blue Boys Predators's goalkeeper José Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klas Malmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Blue Boys Predators's goalkeeper José Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ąžuolas Dališanskis. In the 83rd minute Kipras Gelžinis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aras Nutautas took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Chilavert. José Chilavert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. José Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kipras Gelžinis in the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over Lithuanian amber could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blue Boys Predators throughout the match.
