Santo Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Kim Eliasson with Kasper Lindell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 17thth minute of the game Adrian Oier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Boys Predators's José Chilavert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 played minutes Blue Boys Predators got a freekick which was hit by Claes Fernström. 25 minutes into the match, Blue Boys Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Oier came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Harald Wallengren sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Blue Boys Predators booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Su didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Lindell in the 48th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

53 minutes into the game, Guiñazú FC's Adrian Oier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lucio Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. José Chilavert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guiñazú FC booed when Blue Boys Predators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Harald Wallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Blue Boys Predators got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Brovall. In the 74th minute, Per Wästerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Adrian Oier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Chilavert, passed just outside the right post. If Adrian Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guiñazú FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nestor Carlomagno in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Nestor Carlomagno got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Chilavert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guiñazú FC's Bonifacio Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Lindell in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Lucio Felipo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Chilavert. Blue Boys Predators's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Felipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 93 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Lindell came free, but Bonifacio Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gavino Su hit a great ball. Claes Fernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
