After 4 minutes, Celestino Ellande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AL TOKE FC and the La Candela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AL TOKE FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Celestino Ellande hit a great ball. Alfredo Rojas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Augusto Handi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Ricart got free with Augusto Handi in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rene Bazil came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AL TOKE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Bazil couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Sabin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Celestino Ellande thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Augusto Handi, a very annoying self made goal in the 17th minute which led to 2-0. With a little luck, AL TOKE FC's Augusto Handi got control of the ball when Angel Taurino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Ricart in the 26th minute of the match. Cristobal Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when AL TOKE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Guifre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Benigno Ricart took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Augusto Handi to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Augusto Handi managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when La Candela FC's Benigno Ricart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Frechoso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

If Alfredo Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Alfredo Rojas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Augusto Handi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Txordon came free, but Pablo Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pablo Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Candela FC's Froilan Olivar was substituted for Martin Oinatz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Ricart in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Handi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Jairo Frechoso got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 87 played minutes, La Candela FC's Angel Taurino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Handi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Candela FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in AL TOKE FC's zone, Alfredo Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Handi came out of the goal and Alfredo Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Ricart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
