Outlaws FC's Nedeljko Stepanović got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Matro in the 26th minute of play forced Outlaws FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Esteban Balendin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Boris Radisavčević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Outlaws FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Radisavčević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nedeljko Vujatović hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ricardo Quaresma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Sánchez's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petar Anđelović to make the kick off. Petar Anđelović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Esteban Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Darkness defense, Petar Anđelović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Balendin. The Darkness fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Balendin should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Quaresma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Petar Anđelović came free, but Esteban Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Modesto Txurio fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darkness's protests and gave Modesto Txurio a yellow card for diving instead. Modesto Txurio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Darkness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Txurio to maneuver through the defense. If Danijel Stasić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danijel Stasić in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Outlaws FC were awarded a corner. Nedeljko Vujatović went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 78th minute, Danijel Stasić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Balendin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Nenad Belošević's late challenge caught a Darkness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nenad Belošević helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Outlaws FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Nenad Belošević hit a great ball. If Hugo Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Outlaws FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
