União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Andrade in the 3rd minute of play. Enrique Gerber scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Rômulo Andrade made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in União Agrícola Barbarense's zone, Enrique Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Marques came out of the goal and Enrique Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Rômulo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIRATAS TFP's supporters rose to their feet, but Rômulo Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarbas Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PIRATAS TFP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Gerber in the 23rd minute. If Alexandre da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Gerber came free, but Jarbas Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarbas Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Gerber in the 31st minute of play. Francisco Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bezerra. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rômulo Andrade hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Rômulo Andrade made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarbas Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jarbas Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Andrade's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, União Agrícola Barbarense's Carlinhos Galvão got a free kick in the 47th minute. Enrique Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarbas Marques having to make a save. After the first half PIRATAS TFP were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Fernando Corrêa was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Rômulo Andrade took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jarbas Marques to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques got control of the ball when Rômulo Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Andrade in the 58th minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Jarbas Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafu Macedo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cafu Macedo hit a great ball. Jarbas Marques made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rômulo Andrade sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Rômulo Andrade notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques. Jarbas Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Gerber got free with Jarbas Marques in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When PIRATAS TFP's Rômulo Andrade in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Agrícola Barbarense's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Rômulo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIRATAS TFP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques got control of the ball when Enrique Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarbas Marques came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRATAS TFP's Rômulo Andrade. But to his dismay, Rômulo Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 84th minute of the match PIRATAS TFP got a corner. União Agrícola Barbarense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 85th match minute, União Agrícola Barbarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Valadares to maneuver through the defense. When PIRATAS TFP's Rômulo Andrade in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Agrícola Barbarense's goalie prevented a goal. Jarbas Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rômulo Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Jarbas Marques made a huge save. PIRATAS TFP played a much better game than União Agrícola Barbarense and deserved their victory. The União Agrícola Barbarense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
