The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Erik Hellström hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nils-Erik Dahlman hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, PIRATAS TFP's Alexandre da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Allbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor de Medeiros in the 9th minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Daniel Allbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Daniel Allbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Andrade went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th match minute, Kronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Dahlman to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Andrade struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Daniel Allbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIRATAS TFP. Daniel Allbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Gilbert Löfgren made a precise shot to the right of Laerte Brasil. PIRATAS TFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Gilbert Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor de Medeiros came free, but Daniel Allbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laerte Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Fredriksson in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Kronan booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Rômulo Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Allbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor de Medeiros came free, but Daniel Allbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmund Fredriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rômulo Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PIRATAS TFP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kronan the free kick. Rômulo Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Alexandre da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIRATAS TFP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Kronan's Mats Tidéksson was substituted for Edmund Fredriksson. Kronan made a substitution. Gustav Wassenius replaced Walter Hermansson. Daniel Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre da Cunha in the 63rd minute of play. The referee ignored PIRATAS TFP's protests and gave Alexandre da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Kronan's Joar Wennerqvist was substituted for Ove Dahlgren. Alexandre da Cunha hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. PIRATAS TFP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Jan-Erik Hellström scored to the left of an out of position Laerte Brasil, making the score, 4-2. Rômulo Andrade took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Allbom. Daniel Allbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After some careless play in the Kronan defense, Rômulo Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Allbom. The Kronan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Allbom should have stopped the shot.
