Pedro Catalano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Nyman in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Español's zone, Mattias Nyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Catalano came out of the goal and Mattias Nyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Catalano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Simonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Benigno Pasqual had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peder Boklund. Gnuville BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Pasqual was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 20th minute, Allan Winström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Peder Boklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Pasqual could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Peder Boklund made a huge save. Pedro Catalano came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnuville BK's Dennis Simonsson. But to his dismay, Dennis Simonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dennis Simonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Deportivo Español! Club Deportivo Español:s Pedro Catalano showed great skill when he stopped Mattias Nyman:s penalty. Pedro Catalano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Nyman went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Simonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Georg Dalkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georg Dalkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, one of Gnuville BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gnuville BK. Pedro Catalano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Nyman in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute, Victor Oidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Catalano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Nyman in the 68th minute of play. Ronaldinho Messi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Elvio Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Elvio Palben had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peder Boklund. Gnuville BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Palben was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 82 minutes, Benigno Pasqual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Español and the Gnuville BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Benigno Pasqual got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Pedro Catalano got control of the ball when Mattias Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Messi to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Pasqual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peder Boklund having to make a save. Peder Boklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Palben in the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club Deportivo Español could leave the field as winners, despite Gnuville BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
