In the 18th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Cristos to maneuver through the defense. Konstantinos Lazaropoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Niko Willams put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ulises Benet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Loiola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niko Willams's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Niko Willamss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ulises Benet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami CF's zone, Babbis Siakkas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Benet came out of the goal and Babbis Siakkas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yamine Lamalle charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yamine Lamalle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Inter Miami CF's Anacleto Banegas was substituted for Natalio Ulizes. Yamine Lamalle kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. tHe SOnS of rAGnar played a much better game than Inter Miami CF and deserved their victory. The Inter Miami CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
