Diguinho da Rocha's late challenge caught a Flores AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diguinho da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Blas Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Virgilio Iliana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the Flores AC defense, Filipe Zanussi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Bartoli. The Flores AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Bartoli should have stopped the shot. Gonzalo Bartoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Zanussi in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Blas Bidun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sandro Tasso. Blas Bidun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 32 minutes into the match, Filipe Zanussi notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Flores AC's Gonzalo Bartoli. Gonzalo Bartoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blas Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sandro Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Zanussi to make the kick off. A collision led to Flores AC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Abelardo Lorencio hit a great ball. Virgilio Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Tasso having to interfere. Flores AC's Blas Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Bidun might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Bidun ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Flores AC's Alejo Oton got a free kick in the 68th minute. Blas Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adriano Ortiz hit a great ball. Gonzalo Bartoli made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Filipe Zanussi sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Militros F.C.'s Filipe Zanussi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gonzalo Bartoli. Gonzalo Bartoli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. Gonzalo Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Zanussi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Virgilio Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Militros F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
