The supporters of Cachilo FC --OFF-- booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zumar Gerica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Hermengildo Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachilo FC --OFF--'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Nerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Bueldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Honorio Baumar got a free kick in the 6th minute. Romo Sequeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Lia having to interfere. If Honorio Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Lia had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Pablo Bengoechea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Pablo Bengoechea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Lia was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Nerio in the 31st minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Segundo Bueldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Bengoechea kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Segundo Bueldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Romo Sequeiros hit a great ball. Hermengildo Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Pablo Bengoechea got a free kick in the 49th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Nerio made a kick off. Rodolfo Enciso's late challenge caught a Cachilo FC --OFF--'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
