Carmelo Euloxu helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Salvidor to make the kick off. Milton Casa charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Plumerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Raulo should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Christian Salvidor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Raulo. The goal made the score 0-2. 83 minutes into the game, Eulalio Mannuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La France FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plumerillo the free kick. David Errapel, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Apolo Lorencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Mercurio. La France FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Lorencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Placido Mercurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Lorencio went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Placido Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Errapel in the 95th minute of play. La France FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
