Acheral's Nereo Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Alves in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Carlos Urtzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acheral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceilândia Futebol Clube the free kick. The supporters of Ceilândia Futebol Clube booed when Acheral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Urtzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Claudinho Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Danilo Garcia made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Generoso Sedeni sent off a good shot on target. After 58 minutes Ceilândia Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldo Poz who took care of the corner kick. Jonas Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Falcão struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nereo Balendin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceilândia Futebol Clube. In the 65th minute, Godfredo Presebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Dracena in the 70th minute of play forced Acheral's goalkeeper Nereo Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Alves in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Jonas Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Presebal came free, but Danilo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dé Hoffmann hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Acheral players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ceilândia Futebol Clube.
