Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gică Boerescu kicked off to start the match. A hard shot 2 in the game by Hipolito Piarres from a close distance when the talented Alex Tărâţă managed to make a qualified save. Alex Team's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Fulgencio Shepherd got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Alex Team's Niculae Ştercă in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abuba Akotonon FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Sotil in the 6th minute of play forced Alex Team's goalkeeper Alex Tărâţă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Benjamin Sotil made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gică Boerescu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alex Team's protests and gave Gică Boerescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Ernesto Roldan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Boerescu in the 20th minute of the match. Benjamin Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alex Tărâţă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Abuba Akotonon FC's Titan Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Tărâţă. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. In the 26th match minute, Alex Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Boerescu to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Stolnicu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Domingos Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Boerescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Maximo Laurgain hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Piarres got free with Alex Tărâţă in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Hipolito Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Tărâţă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Sotil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Tărâţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Domingos Iaki got control of the ball when Niculae Ştercă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Bodiu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Bodiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Titan Palermo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. During the 66th minute of the match Cornel Bodiu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cornel Bodiu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cornel Bodiu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Shepherd in the 68th minute of play. Alex Tărâţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alex Tărâţă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Benjamin Sotil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Fernanco during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Urbano Fernanco hit a great ball. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
