Cornel Bodiu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armin Bondi. Armin Bondi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ettore Mazzocchetti succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Cornel Bodiu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armin Bondi. Armin Bondi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 28th minute of the match, Aurelio De Marchi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Tărâţă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. LA Lord Perez's Armin Bondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 38th minute of play. Armin Bondi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Boerescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by Robert Angheluță. A hard shot by Ettore Mazzocchetti from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Alex Tărâţă's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gică Boerescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ettore Mazzocchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gică Boerescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armin Bondi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio De Marchi came free, but Alex Tărâţă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornel Bodiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Bondi having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Carter Piccinini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA Lord Perez's Armin Bondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 67th minute of play. Alex Tărâţă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Barone in the 68th minute of play. Alex Tărâţă came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by LA Lord Perez's Ettore Mazzocchetti. But to his dismay, Ettore Mazzocchetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Niculae Ştercă scored 2-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armin Bondi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornel Bodiu during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Bodiu. In the 87th match minute, LA Lord Perez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Reggianini to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Armin Bondi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Cornel Bodiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armin Bondi. The goal made the score 2-5. When Adam Abrudan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alex Team's protests and gave Adam Abrudan a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Abrudan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Alex Tărâţă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio De Marchi in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alex Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
