The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio De Marchi during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LA Lord Perez getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aurelio De Marchi hit a great ball. If Norbert Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulryk Gacek stood somewhat misplaced when Ettore Mazzocchetti came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Opus Dei's zone, Ettore Mazzocchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulryk Gacek came out of the goal and Ettore Mazzocchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Opus Dei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Poremba to maneuver through the defense. Ulryk Gacek made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ettore Mazzocchetti sent off a good shot on target. If Norbert Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Piccinini kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Armin Bondi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Mielak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Mielak in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Bondi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Mielak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Armin Bondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Mielak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Aurelio De Marchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slawomir Plaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Di Lorenzo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Opus Dei's Slawomir Plaski got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norbert Poremba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Bondi having to interfere. If Jan Mielak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LA Lord Perez booed when Opus Dei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Pochorylo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Zenon Pochorylo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LA Lord Perez's Amos Barone got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Jan Mielak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, LA Lord Perez's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Mielak came free, but Armin Bondi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Norbert Poremba fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opus Dei's protests and gave Norbert Poremba a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Opus Dei got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Poremba. If Jan Mielak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to LA Lord Perez getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dave Del Duca hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes, Opus Dei's Norbert Poremba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armin Bondi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Opus Dei reached it.
