The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Jim Hedström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Esdras skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tomas Örtlund hit a great ball. Ture Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Åkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Per-Erik Ekman was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Nicasio Bartoleme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicasio Bartoleme really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Per-Erik Ekman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Gilen. After 25 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Jim Hedström. Tomas Örtlund charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Örtlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Örtlund hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Boedo Vengo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim Hedström was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Rönnöfors FF's corner Jim Hedström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cayetano Esdras quite easily take care of the ball. Per-Erik Ekman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Bogren in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Esdras saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Hedström to make the kick off. Santo Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Rönnöfors FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of De Boedo Vengo:s goal. When Krister Flinck fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rönnöfors FF's protests and gave Krister Flinck a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Flinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Hedström hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Per-Erik Ekman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Amadeo Gomesano made a precise shot to the right of Per-Erik Ekman. Rönnöfors FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 82 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Krister Flinck. 86 minutes into the game, Jim Hedström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Esdras. Jim Hedström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. De Boedo Vengo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rönnöfors FF for a fine match.
