Muğan Färzäliyev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Benvido having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Yaqub Aydinov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaqub Aydinov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Yaqub Aydinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Goi in the 65th minute of the match. Péter Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Goi's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaqub Aydinov in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Benvido saved Deportivo Mukenio from getting behind. In the 91st match minute, Şamaxı Bankirlər was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavär Tahirov to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes, Muğan Färzäliyev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Şamaxı Bankirlər and the Deportivo Mukenio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Şamaxı Bankirlər players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Deportivo Mukenio from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
