After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Rasmus Wenerdahl got a free kick in the 29th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Jaba Li was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciruel Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melchester Rovers the free kick. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when Ciruel Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaba Li didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Tio Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Florentino Rodriguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörgen Lundqvist skillfully saved the ball. Jörgen Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bartolomé Sabina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Lundqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bartolomé Sabinas short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Jörgen Lundqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joar Pi's late challenge caught a Ciruel Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 83rdth minute of the game Estebano Vuelta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melchester Rovers's Jörgen Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Estebano Vuelta came free, but Jörgen Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Estebano Vuelta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörgen Lundqvist. Melchester Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Estebano Vuelta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jörgen Lundqvist came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ciruel Academy's Bartolomé Sabina. But to his dismay, Bartolomé Sabina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
