In the 6th match minute, Pyrgetos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutichios Rikkas to maneuver through the defense. If Estebano Vuelta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Paşa Bolas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Wachira Waaddegaard's late challenge caught a Ciruel Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wachira Waaddegaard helped the player get up and apologised. Wachira Waaddegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Iordanis Batsidis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rufo Azofra. Tio Cabezon had several of the Pyrgetos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Iordanis Batsidis as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 33rd minute, Estebano Vuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Paris Kaloxilos fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pyrgetos FC's protests and gave Paris Kaloxilos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Pyrgetos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Kaloxilos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, José Puyol fired a really elegant long shot, but Iordanis Batsidis threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Iordanis Batsidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st match minute, Pyrgetos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Kaloxilos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, José Puyol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciruel Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but José Puyol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordanis Batsidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iordanis Batsidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tio Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Tio Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciruel Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tio Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

53 minutes into the game, Eutichios Rikkas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pyrgetos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciruel Academy the free kick. After 53 played minutes Pyrgetos FC got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Rikkas. Tio Cabezon scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iordanis Batsidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iordanis Batsidis came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciruel Academy's Estebano Vuelta. But to his dismay, Estebano Vuelta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 70th minute, Estebano Vuelta made a precise shot to the right of Iordanis Batsidis. Pyrgetos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 74 minutes into the match, Pyrgetos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomé Sabina came free, but Iordanis Batsidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pyrgetos FC's goalkeeper Iordanis Batsidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, José Puyol notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Pyrgetos FC's Iordanis Batsidis. Iordanis Batsidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute of the match José Puyol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iordanis Batsidis skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Bartolomé Sabina sped through Pyrgetos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iordanis Batsidis. Iordanis Batsidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolomé Sabina went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Pyrgetos FC's Iordanis Batsidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomé Sabina in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pyrgetos FC's Diogenis Kostiadis got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pyrgetos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ciruel Academy.
