The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when MS Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Setara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörgen Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Pracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Gert Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Edward Walentowicz made the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Pracki kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 52 played minutes, Melchester Rovers's Jonathan Pi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waclaw Galagan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Pracki in the 90th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Jörgen Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when MS Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Wojtyna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waclaw Galagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Walentowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Lundqvist having to interfere. MS Rybnik's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
