No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Che Reale made the kick off in the second half. Walmyr de Salles hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cosimo Scevola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artur Maranhense. FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Che Reale succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 56th playminute. Artur Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Che Reale in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Armando Saldanha made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Cannone was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Collins the free kick. In the 77th minute, Gildo Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Cannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Saldanha in the 79th minute of play. Anselmo Scotti struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Artur Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Collins. In the 83rd minute, Marcos Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FÊNIX F.C.'s Artur Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Tamburrini in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Che Reale came free, but Artur Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of AC Collins's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AC Collins may have spent more time on the ball, but FÊNIX F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
