In the 3rd minute, Róbson Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Villadeatese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Di Fonzo to maneuver through the defense. Gildo Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Fabbri in the 13th minute. Aurelio Egger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Queiroz in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Fabbri got free with Gildo Simões in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gildo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Odisio in the 21st minute of the match. Aurelio Egger came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carrapichel - FDFDF's Róbson Melo. But to his dismay, Róbson Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aurelio Egger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Paulo Branco's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. José Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Aurelio Egger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões got control of the ball when Luca Fabbri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, José Vasconcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Egger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If José Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Paulo Branco made a kick off. After 63 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Branco. Róbson Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Aurelio Egger made a huge save. Marco Odisio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gildo Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villadeatese FC. Róbson Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Egger having to interfere. Villadeatese FC's Aurelio Egger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Villadeatese FC from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Egger made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Branco in the 83rd minute. Marco Odisio's late challenge caught a Carrapichel - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Odisio helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Villadeatese FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Odisio. Róbson Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Egger. Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Villadeatese FC's Aurelio Egger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Villadeatese FC from getting a goal against them. Róbson Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aurelio Egger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo Branco took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Egger. Aurelio Egger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carrapichel - FDFDF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
