Romero Bolante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Catarinense in the 3rd minute of the match. When Oranil's Edmílson Catarinense in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Golozos's goalie prevented a goal. Romero Bolante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romero Bolante having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, CD Golozos's goalkeeper Romero Bolante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson Catarinense. In the 21st play minute Kléber Saldanha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romero Bolante. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Trabado in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geancarlos Valgoma in the 26th minute of play. Romero Bolante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio das Neves in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Oranil's Edmílson Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romero Bolante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, CD Golozos's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Catarinense came free, but Romero Bolante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Corozo Mazariegos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Golozos and the Oranil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Corozo Mazariegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romero Bolante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Catarinense in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Catarinense to make the kick off. Romero Bolante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Edmílson Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 71 minutes into the match, Edmílson Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romero Bolante. CD Golozos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Edmílson Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romero Bolante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmílson Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmílson Catarinense in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. CD Golozos's Romero Bolante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Catarinense in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Oranil's Edmílson Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romero Bolante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 84thth minute of the game Edmílson Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Golozos's Romero Bolante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CD Golozos's Romero Bolante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Favoretto in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of CD Golozos booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romero Bolante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Catarinense in the 95th minute of play.
