Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) 5 minutes into the match, Norberto Eger notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SRP-Laguna's Nuno Azevedo. Nuno Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 7 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Leão. In the 12th minute, Perivaldo Proença fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Nunes FC booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Valladares in the 21st minute of play. The throw-in from Pedrão Arce in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nunes FC's Wilson Cosme. Nunes FC's Dida Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Leão in the 30th minute of play. If Gerson Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquinho Chaves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nunes FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Wilson Cosme hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nunes FC's zone, Gerson Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Peres came out of the goal and Gerson Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dida Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiquinho Chaves during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Chiquinho Chaves got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Valladares to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Leão in the 59th minute of play forced Nunes FC's goalkeeper Dida Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Peres having to interfere. Valério Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valério Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Nunes FC's zone, Chiquinho Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Peres came out of the goal and Chiquinho Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilson Coelho lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Nuno Azevedo went to the wrong direction when Miguel Carvalho was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Chiquinho Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Peres having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Leão got free with Dida Peres in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Carvalho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Chiquinho Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Peres having to interfere. Nuno Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Valladares in the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense.
