Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodriguinho Viana got the match started through his kick off. Enio Abreu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Alberto Abarca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Botafogo MZRJ's Marco Ramos. Marco Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Botafogo MZRJ's Marco Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Abarca in the 11th minute of play. After 16th play minutes Rodriguinho Viana shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Alejandro Iztal and just under the crossbar into goal. When Rodriguinho Viana came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Botafogo MZRJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho Viana couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Enio Abreu got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Alberto Abarca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 32 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Quintan. Botafogo MZRJ's Durvalino Paranaense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alejandro Iztal but with some difficulty. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Alejandro Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS from getting a goal against them. In the 36th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Abarca to maneuver through the defense. Botafogo MZRJ's Paulo de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Rodriguinho Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Rodriguinho Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Abarca was the one to do the kick off. Alejandro Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodriguinho Viana's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Rodriguinho Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Iztal was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Renan Santana got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Botafogo MZRJ's Rodriguinho Viana in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Enio Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Paulo de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Alejandro Iztal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 minutes, Rodriguinho Viana made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Alejandro Iztal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Hermelando got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alberto Abarca. Alberto Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Ramos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Botafogo MZRJ's zone, Alberto Abarca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Ramos came out of the goal and Alberto Abarca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Viana to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Abarca came free, but Marco Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 8-2 became the score in the 96th minute when Rodriguinho Viana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Botafogo MZRJ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
