The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Glyn Beesley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Smolarek in the 17th minute of the match. Benedykt Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glyn Beesley having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Smolarek in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glyn Beesley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd match minute, Dom Spokojnej Młodości was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Wojtkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes The Handsome Wizards UTD got a freekick which was hit by Owen Haigh. Glyn Beesley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nike Dres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Benedykt Smolarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glyn Beesley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 32 minutes of play, Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Radoslaw Raszek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glyn Beesley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glyn Beesley came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Radoslaw Raszek. But to his dismay, Radoslaw Raszek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Raszek in the 39th minute of play forced The Handsome Wizards UTD's goalkeeper Glyn Beesley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, The Handsome Wizards UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Raszek came free, but Glyn Beesley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Ludwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glyn Beesley having to interfere. Glyn Beesley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Smolarek in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Radoslaw Raszek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glyn Beesley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedykt Smolarek was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Radoslaw Raszek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glyn Beesley. The Handsome Wizards UTD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radoslaw Raszek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Wit Szotek got a free kick in the 55th minute. Glyn Beesley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Ludwa in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Vance Bennet got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Benedykt Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Smolarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Dom Spokojnej Młodości booed when The Handsome Wizards UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Winship didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glyn Beesley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Radoslaw Raszek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glyn Beesley. That made the score 0-7 after 63 minutes of play. When Benedykt Smolarek came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Dom Spokojnej Młodości fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedykt Smolarek couldn't finish the play. Dom Spokojnej Młodości made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Tomasz Wejta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glyn Beesley was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Tomasz Wejta got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in The Handsome Wizards UTD's zone, Tomasz Wejta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glyn Beesley came out of the goal and Tomasz Wejta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glyn Beesley was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Tomasz Wejta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomasz Wejta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Nike Dres hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Benedykt Smolarek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glyn Beesley having to make a save. When the match was over Dom Spokojnej Młodości could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Handsome Wizards UTD throughout the match.
