Alejandro Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Gacitúa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alejandro Iztal had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Frances Gacitúa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Alejandro Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frances Gacitúa in the 34th minute of play. Alejandro Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Alejandro Iztal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frances Gacitúa in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Iztal saved CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS from getting behind. In the 46th minute of the match, Frances Gacitúa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Iztal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alejandro Iztal made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Frances Gacitúa sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Etor to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Iztal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
