Joélson Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joélson Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Story-Moore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Bradley Burnham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TOP™ - Nairoby's Joélson Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Burnham in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Den Coates mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Friggle FC and the TOP™ - Nairoby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Friggle FC's Den Coates got a free kick in the 21st minute. Conrado Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as TOP™ - Nairoby's Andrézinho Lucas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Ferrell. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. A collision led to TOP™ - Nairoby getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Egídio Simão hit a great ball. Bradley Burnham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joélson Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the TOP™ - Nairoby defense, Steve Mann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson Palmeira. The TOP™ - Nairoby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Palmeira should have stopped the shot. Friggle FC's Sebastian Story-Moore got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Sebastian Story-Moore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Joélson Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Leigh Burgess notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of TOP™ - Nairoby's Joélson Palmeira. Joélson Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Sebastian Story-Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Friggle FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magno de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. TOP™ - Nairoby's Joélson Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save TOP™ - Nairoby from getting a goal against them. Peter Hunter charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Hunter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Conrado Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Conrado Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOP™ - Nairoby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Friggle FC's Sebastian Story-Moore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joélson Palmeira.
