Sebastian Story-Moore started the match with the kick off. Blas Oxarra hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, one of Friggle FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Friggle FC. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for San Martin de Tucuman. Martin Teyo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ivan Ferrell. 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucuman's Flavio Blai made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Ferrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blas Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ivan Ferrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin de Tucuman. Alfonso Weather blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Ferrell having to make a save. Tyrone Lynch charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ivan Ferrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Blai in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Epifanio Paulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ivan Ferrell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Weather in the 47th minute of play forced Friggle FC's goalkeeper Ivan Ferrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half San Martin de Tucuman were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Blai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Sebastian Story-Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Blai in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Ferrell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bradley Burnham kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ivan Ferrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Teyo in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Blas Oxarra made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Ferrell. Friggle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 64th minute, Carlos Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Story-Moore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Friggle FC booed when San Martin de Tucuman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Johnstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Atilano Omero put in a rough tackle. San Martin de Tucuman:s Aquilino Pasqual showed great skill when he stopped Kristopher Johnstone:s penalty. After some careless play in the San Martin de Tucuman defense, Kristopher Johnstone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Pasqual. The San Martin de Tucuman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Pasqual should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Blas Oxarra made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Ferrell. Friggle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 80th minute, Epifanio Paulin made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Ferrell. Friggle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Oxarra in the 89th minute of play forced Friggle FC's goalkeeper Ivan Ferrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Paulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Friggle FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching San Martin de Tucuman's performance. The match ended with a win for San Martin de Tucuman.
