Donatello Incera hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Doni Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Virgilio Marcilla made a huge save. Jaizki Lacorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Vander having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Curcio Amer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Augusto Vander. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Curcio Amer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Jonas Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PERSPOLIS the free kick. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Donatello Incera got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Filipe Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgilio Marcilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 32 minutes into the game, PERSPOLIS's Curcio Amer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Augusto Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Vander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Baltazar Vives got a free kick in the 41st minute. Filipe Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Marcilla having to interfere. After the first half PERSPOLIS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jaizki Lacorte made the kick off in the second half. Donatello Incera kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Curcio Amer charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Curcio Amer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Curcio Amer hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Curcio Amer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in PERSPOLIS's zone, Doni Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Marcilla came out of the goal and Doni Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Amer came free, but Carlos Augusto Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Curcio Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot. PERSPOLIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Curcio Amer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Jaizki Lacorte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PERSPOLIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachoeira Paulista F.c the free kick. When Xuaco Otero in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Carlos Augusto Vander kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's Carlos Augusto Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Amer in the 86th minute of play. Jaizki Lacorte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Vander made a huge save. Jaizki Lacorte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carlos Augusto Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PERSPOLIS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
