Jaizki Lacortes short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Konrad Banan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bogdan Plucinik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Plucinik in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. After having played for 12 minutes, Xuaco Otero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PERSPOLIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xuaco Otero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Phantasy World got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Chuchro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curcio Amer in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Banan saved Phantasy World from getting behind. In the last second Konrad Banan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Curcio Amer in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Phantasy World getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cezary Mitus hit a great ball. If Xuaco Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Plucinik took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Marcilla. Virgilio Marcilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Xelo Dagora hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Phantasy World booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curcio Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Phantasy World's Bogdan Plucinik got a free kick in the 46th minute. Virgilio Marcilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Plucinik, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaizki Lacorte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Bogdan Plucinik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Curcio Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot. PERSPOLIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Curcio Amer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konrad Banan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Marcilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Kojder in the 82nd minute of the match. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save PERSPOLIS from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the PERSPOLIS defense, Napoleon Kojder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Marcilla. The PERSPOLIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Marcilla should have stopped the shot. PERSPOLIS's Curcio Amer suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Radowit Chuchro charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radowit Chuchro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radowit Chuchro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
