The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the Real Kuskatan C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Mejia came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Torstensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Camilo Hinguanzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Staffan Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Madariaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Díaz in the 11th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Staffan Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Godholm charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inge Godholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Godholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Thidén in the 14th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Camilo Hinguanzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Cesar Mejia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Torstensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Hinguanzo having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Inge Godholm. 27 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Camilo Hinguanzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Torstensson. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Mejia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Real Kuskatan C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl García to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Madariaga in the 35th minute of play. Cesar Mejia scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staffan Lind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Madariaga in the 46th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúl Díaz was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Díaz got free with Staffan Lind in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Staffan Lind came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Humberto Madariaga. But to his dismay, Humberto Madariaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 57th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Cesar Mejia took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Staffan Lind to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Humberto Madariaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Staffan Lind. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Johannes Torstensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linköpings AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Torstensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Hinguanzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st match minute, Real Kuskatan C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl García to maneuver through the defense. Robert Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Robert Jansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Jansson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Thidén hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Raúl Díaz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind didn't even have to move. In the 89th minute Johannes Torstensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Hinguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Raúl Díaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Kuskatan C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The Real Kuskatan C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Cesar Mejia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Kuskatan C.F. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
