The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Los Espinillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Firme came free, but Astor Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Ixidor hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carmelo Roldan's late challenge caught a Los Espinillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Roldan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Espinillos FC booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Chap. 32 minutes into the game, Everardo Ixidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabossi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Espinillos FC the free kick. Everardo Ixidor hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Salvador Chap hit a great ball. Omar Paul made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Rene Tadzio sent off a good shot on target. Astor Barbosa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tabossi's Salvador Chap. But to his dismay, Salvador Chap quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Tadzio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Salvador Chap fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabossi's protests and gave Salvador Chap a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Espinillos FC booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Roldan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Omar Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Salvador Chap sent off a good shot on target. Julio Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Barbosa having to interfere. The supporters of Los Espinillos FC booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Modestio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Carmelo Roldan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Barbosa. Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Damian Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Paul having to interfere. Freddy Gonza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Barbosa having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tabossi were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Los Espinillos FC side.
