The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. Americo Firmin's late challenge caught a Linköpings AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Firmin helped the player get up and apologised. Carl Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Karlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tabossi booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Torstensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. Julio Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Torstensson in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Flores to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Cayetano Bernabel got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tabossi's zone, Johannes Torstensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Sanduru came out of the goal and Johannes Torstensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Tabossi were awarded a corner. Carmelo Roldan went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ermegildo Flores heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nicasio Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Staffan Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tabossi's Nicasio Firme in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linköpings AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Bernabel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Johannes Torstensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the Tabossi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tabossi booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Linköpings AIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Americo Firmin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Firme to make the kick off. If Americo Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Firme in the 55th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Staffan Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Bengt-Åke Thidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Sanduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linköpings AIK's Johannes Torstensson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Sanduru but with some difficulty. Bengt-Åke Thidén received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Sanduru came out and tried to block the shot, but Bengt-Åke Thidén slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 64th minute. Julio Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Thidén in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Greger Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linköpings AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tabossi's Julio Sanduru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Thidén in the 83rd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Chap came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Chap in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Nicasio Firme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Lind was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Linköpings AIK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tabossi to leave the ground with a draw.
