In the 17th minute, Flávio Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, ALTHENTIC F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel França to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ALTHENTIC F.C's Túlio Cerezo got control of the ball when Ernesto Margoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, ALTHENTIC F.C's Leopoldo Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Madonna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when ALTHENTIC F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Margoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Túlio Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ALTHENTIC F.C booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Cavaliere didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes, ALTHENTIC F.C's Leopoldo Mineiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Madonna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ALTHENTIC F.C reached it. 46 minutes into the match, Acácio Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Madonna. Kroton F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hernani Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALTHENTIC F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Madonna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciccio Ruggieri took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Cerezo. Túlio Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 56 minutes into the game, Ernesto Margoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kroton F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALTHENTIC F.C the free kick. Ernesto Margoni hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Kiko Brito took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Madonna. Donato Madonna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. ALTHENTIC F.C's Túlio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Della Francesca in the 82nd minute of play. Fabio Cavaliere took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Cerezo. Túlio Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Túlio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Ruggieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kroton F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ALTHENTIC F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for ALTHENTIC F.C.
