Alfredo Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to São Miguel do Oeste.SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Celsinho Arantes hit a great ball. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for São Miguel do Oeste.SC! When Racing Club's Urbano Jago in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Victor Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Marinho came free, but Jesus Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darley De Deus hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alfredo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ezequiel Pero came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Pero couldn't finish the play. Gugu Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gugu Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes São Miguel do Oeste.SC got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Marinho. Ezequiel Pero scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Racing Club were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Pero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aldo Manni hit a great ball. Ezequiel Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfredo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Urbano Jago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Sena. Urbano Jago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Luiz Guilherme Capixaba's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Guilherme Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Guilherme Capixaba hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Pero scored 0-6 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urbano Jago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Sena having to interfere. The supporters of Racing Club booed when São Miguel do Oeste.SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Urbano Jago took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Alfredo Sena to make any attempt to save it. Darley De Deus hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute when Gustavo Pacifico was dribbling his way through São Miguel do Oeste.SC's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Club's Urbano Jago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Sena. That made the score 0-8 after 92 minutes of play. Racing Club played a much better game than São Miguel do Oeste.SC and deserved their victory. The São Miguel do Oeste.SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
