Ragıp Şölen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Kalatzis in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Abdulkadir Savtekin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The blackeagle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fivos Dadamis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levent Ünlü in the 22nd minute of play. Apostolos Nalbantis took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ragıp Şölen. The audience was convinced that Sakis Kefalas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ragıp Şölen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.
