In the 38th minute Ruperto Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Matthew in the 41st minute of play. Sirius Dog were furious when Vladimiro Aguirre was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute, one of Sirius Dog:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sirius Dog. The referee gave Pendex a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abel Bermudez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sirius Dog's Lázaro Cisco. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Pendex made a substitution. Romulo Harkaitz replaced Justo Txurio. A collision led to Pendex getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Godofredo Nayely hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pendex's Narciso Sayveon got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Sirius Dog booed when Pendex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Gauargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Savion hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Godofredo Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pendex's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
