In the 17th minute Luís Eduardo Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as José Vítor de Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lukas Matsson. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. If José Vítor de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Svenne Svensk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisão Sabóia in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lukas Matsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisão Sabóia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michael Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Conrado Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Marcinho Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibirama Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NORDLAND the free kick. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Conrado Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Svenne Svensk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NORDLAND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svenne Svensk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Márcio Trevisan hit a great ball. Lukas Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Malcolm Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC NORDLAND players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
