With a left leg Kjell-Arne Axelsson saved Tierp FC from getting behind. In the 4th minute, Leonardo Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Kléber Diniz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kjell-Arne Axelsson. When Ramiro Recife came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Barões F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Recife couldn't finish the play. Tierp FC's Kjell-Arne Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Diniz in the 17th minute of play. Åke Nässén kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Leonardo Souto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell-Arne Axelsson skillfully saved the ball. Geovani de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Trillkott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wilton Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barões F. C.'s protests and gave Wilton Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. Wilton Trancoso hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Barões F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Azevedo. Åke Nässén kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Jan-Erik Trillkott got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sixten Odén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jan-Erik Trillkott made the kick off in the second half. Kjell-Arne Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Diniz in the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Tierp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Diniz came free, but Kjell-Arne Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Trillkott in the 62nd minute of play forced Barões F. C.'s goalkeeper Geovani de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Kléber Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Narciso Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Narciso Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barões F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Kléber Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Tierp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Diniz came free, but Kjell-Arne Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
