Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Lundhberg to make the kick off. Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Lundhberg in the 66th minute of play. Tommie Vaes came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Värdsholmen's Christer Termander. But to his dismay, Christer Termander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoffel Callewaert during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Oskar Wenerdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommie Vaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The BK Värdsholmen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BK Värdsholmen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
